PODS Minutes for 10.03.2002 - The "Amalgamation Meeting"
I. MIT CIRCLE - OCT 26TH
A. Themes of this circle
1. Percephone and the Underworld (greek mythology, not catholic)
2. Pomegranate (fresher than dining hall pomegranITE)
B. Misc tidbits of tasty infomorsels
1. DOORS ARE OPEN AT 7.30
2. THEY WILL REMAIN SO UNTIL 8.00pm SHARP
3. RITUAL BEGINS AT 8.00pm SHARP
4. Opening the doors once closed is frowned upon, but allowed
only if necessary for those who arrive late.
C. For those of you who don't know, MIT is in the Boston crib, so
we'll be chillin there for a while cuz the place is tite.
II. Connection being established between PODS and Calisto's Curios (Pagan
shop)
A. Thanks Mike
B. Classes are being held there October thru November for those of you
who would like to go.
C. If there are more than 5 people from PODS going as a group, there
is a discount
D. Normal class prices (excluding Tarot) are 15$, group discounts get
each person in at 10$
E. Classes I'm aware of are:
1. Egyptian Class
2. Numerology 101
3. Spirits & Ghosts
4. Wicca Workshop
5. Tarot workshop (50$/each person, no discount available....
readings take lots of time and energy)
F. It sounds like the classes are weekly on Wednesdays. More
information is either forthcoming or available through Mike.

IV. Miscellaneous Massive Tasty Infomorsels
A. Buddhist's Delight was recommended to the vegans among us. They
have a huge menu, fair priced, and its like all vegan, baby! Its in
the Boston Chinatown area.
B. Rumors are spreading about a PODS T-Shirt. Designs are currently
lacking. Send your concepts to us, me, them, or anyone at our meeting
that looks official.
C. Movie night was a great concept. It still can be if you also send
your suggestions for movies for watching. They needen't be
occult-oriented, so anything you think would be fun, suggest away.
D. Last but not least, CAMPUS CLEANUP WILL BEGIN AT 5.00PM THIS
THURSDAY. Part of our plan to get more involved with the area included
ideas for cleaning up our area. So we're going to start this Thursday
and clean up as much of this campus as we can in two hours. THE MORE
PEOPLE WE HAVE, THE CLEANER THE CAMPUS WILL BE. BRING FRIENDS. BRING
ENEMIES. BRING PEOPLE WHO JUST LIKE PICKING UP THINGS. LETS BRING THE
TRASH WHERE IT BELONGS.
