NEXT WEEK: REIKI I WITH JESS
Bring some water and a pillow. If Jess passes any further requests by me,
I will post them.
Reiki is a healing art, utilizing energy to alleviate pains, aches, and
so on, and can be used to remedy the sick, slow or stop cancer, and other
feats in extreme cases. Jess will be offering attunement to the first
stage or Reiki training for those who wish it. She will also be
instructing those who come on how to use this energy to heal.
WEEK AFTER: OPEN MEETING
If anyone would like to do something for this meeting, it seems like its
open season on topic hunting :)
WEEK AFTER THE WEEK AFTER: DRUMMING WITH KYLE
If you have a drum, bring it. We have a few to share, but it never hurts
to supply your own instrument of beating.
Kyle will be leading a drumming circle that is both instructional for
novices and fun for experienced drummers. If you've never hit a drum or
you've led your own circle, come sit with Kyle and have a banging good
time :)
LAST MEETING:
We had a party. Not much to say here for those who missed it; there
was a $#*@load of candy to be had, pumpkin carving, two movies to be
watched, sweedish fish flying thorugh the air, two sadomasachistic
couples, a handful of new members, corny jokes about heads being
lopped off, and Tibbs as Harry Potter. It was fun. I suspect this
will become a regular occurance, as it seemed everyone had a darn
good time. Thanks to everyone who came, bought stuff, paid for stuff,
cleaned stuff up, and so on and so forth.
